I BURNED SO OTHERS COULD ORBIT

Star#0 / 2500

I BURNED SO OTHERS COULD ORBIT

Before there were worlds, there was only silence.

The First Light

There were no planets yet.
No paths to follow.
No center to return to.

Only an empty canvas suspended in the dark, waiting without knowing whether anyone would ever find it.

So a light was placed there.

Not to rule the universe.
Not to be worshipped.
Not even to be remembered.

It began to burn for a simpler reason:

so that something else could one day move around it.

This star is the first promise of Cosmic Canvas.

It represents the belief that emptiness is not the absence of meaning, but a space where meaning has not yet arrived. That a universe does not begin when it is full, but the moment someone dares to leave the first trace within it.

Every world that finds its orbit, every distant body that crosses this sky, and every story entrusted to this universe will give this first light another reason to exist.

Perhaps creation has always been an act of faith:

  • building a place before knowing who will come;
  • illuminating a path before knowing who will follow;
  • giving something a future before it has an audience;
  • accepting that what we create may eventually belong to more people than ourselves.

This star does not stand at the center because it is more important than the worlds around it.

It stands there because someone had to begin.

And sometimes, beginning means burning alone for a while — trusting that one day, the darkness will answer with planets, moons, memories, and lives of its own.

I burned so others could orbit.
And the universe began to move.
