Refund Policy

1. Digital Goods & the EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, distance-selling law generally gives you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that law (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m), and its UK equivalent) allows the right to be lost once performance begins, provided you gave prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right.

Before payment, a dedicated confirmation asks you to expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once your celestial body is created. This confirmation is separate from acceptance of the Terms. If you believe a purchase was made in error, contact us promptly (see "How to Request a Refund" below); we review these in good faith even outside a strict legal entitlement.

2. Our General Stance

Because creation and visible placement begin as soon as payment is confirmed, purchases are final except in these cases: (a) a duplicate or erroneous charge, (b) a technical failure that took your payment but failed to place a body at all, or (c) where required by applicable consumer-protection law.

3. Cryptocurrency Payments

Payments made via NOWPayments (cryptocurrency) settle on public blockchains and are irreversible by their nature. We cannot force-reverse a completed crypto transaction. If a refund is granted for a crypto purchase, it is issued at our discretion as a new outbound transaction and may be affected by network fees and exchange-rate movements between the original payment and the refund.

4. How a Refunded Body Is Handled

If a refund is granted for a body that was already placed, we hide its label, description, image, and link from public view and mark it withdrawn. Because the universe is shared and persistent, we do not delete the coordinate slot itself or hand it to another user retroactively; the underlying record may be retained for accounting and anti-fraud purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

For capped tiers, the rarity-index slot freed by a refunded body may be released for a future claim at our discretion.

5. How to Request a Refund

Contact cosmiccanvas@sorokdva.eu within 14 days of purchase with your order/payment reference and the reason for your request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the original processor (Stripe, PayPal, or NOWPayments) and may take several business days to appear, depending on your processor or bank.

6. Free (Stardust) Claims

Free-tier claims have no purchase price and are therefore not eligible for a monetary refund. If you no longer want a free claim's content shown publicly, use the in-app report tools or contact support to have it hidden — see our Terms of Service for how moderation and hiding work.
